An (unintentional) study of character design, this project helped me better understand what makes a character design interesting without being overwhelming with shapes, colors, and ideas.

I've always loved the horror genre, but I want to increasingly incorporate it into my art. Amanda the Adventurer, an indie horror game revolving around a young girl named Amanda, really struck me with a sense of dread I hadn't felt in a very long time.

SPOILERS AHEAD!
The very last scene shows Amanda trying to escape from her personal hell, but eventually ending trapped inside a child's TV show. This last part of the game really hit me hard, and I wanted to convey that feeling of claustrophobia, terror, and overall sense of unease.
